Учу мужа русскому языку. Видите ли, есть два типа учеников - одни это те, которым надо ВСЁ ПОНИМАТЬ, причем СРАЗУ, НЕМЕДЛЕННО и ПРЯМ ТУТ, иначе они не смогут продвигаться вперед, их будет косить чувство нервозности и неуверенности, они бросят занятия; и есть такие, которым если объяснить, что цель урока это ИКС (например, мочь следить глазами за начитываемым текстом, без разницы понимаешь ты его или нет), то они в состоянии этот ИКС отделить от всех остальных целей, от жгучего желания понимать всё сразу абюсолютно, и могут концентрироваться на конкретном задании ИКС, приостанавливая, так сказать, все остальные процессы в оперативной памяти.

На английском языке это называет suspend judgement. На японском это называется 判断保留. На русском... "приостановить решение"? Смысл в том, что ты не торопишься у себя в голове выносить решение, ты ждешь, когда будет для этого достаточно входящей информации. Если информации недостаточно, то насколько бы тебе ни хотелось вынести эмоциональное решение, ты его задерживаешь до поступления необходимой информации. Это навык. Ученым он необходим всегда.

При изучении языков уметь "приостанавливать решение" - это крайне незаменимый навык.
