Как отвечать, когда ревьюер не прав / совершенно не понял вашу статью.
1. Перепишите ту часть статьи, которую не понял ревьюер.
2. Напишите следующий ответ ревьюеру.
I would like to thank reviewer 2 for drawing my attention to the lack of clarity in this part of the paper. The reviewer’s comments have helped me to considerably improve this section, which now reads […].
Where reviewer 2 says ‘This is incorrect: turkeys are birds,’ we agree entirely. Turkeys are birds, and we hope that this is clear in the revised text.
In response to the reviewer’s statement, “turkeys are flamingos”, we acknowledge that there is room for disagreement on this point, however we would prefer to stick with the definitions given by Smith et al. (1888) who defined turkeys as ‘…’ and Rogers (1753) who described flamingos as ‘…’ In this revision, we have explicitly referred to these definitions in our Introduction to avoid confusion.
